In all its glory, I present the grandeur and elegance of the Crystal Ballroom — now being used for fly-fishing lessons. Seriously. Since the late 1950s, when the space was no longer viable due to occupancy restrictions — a number of things have been attempted to find a new use for the space.

Trivia: On April 12, 1955, the Polio vaccine trials were announced from Ann Arbor, Michigan. In Toronto — in the Crystal Ballroom — nearly 700 doctors and nurses gathered to watch the announcement on TV sets brought in for the announcement.
