This chair strikes me as being a 'gatekeeper' in the way its positioned in the hallway. The original version of the image has much more of the black ceiling at the top but in the web format it would have appeared as almost a full page of black before you got to the chair below. To me there's not enough separation between the chair and background here, but there's still something about it like...
