Shingled Cones In The Forest Zoo

The remains of the Belle Isle Nature Zoo / Safariland in Detroit are minimal. Some structures like these remain, connected by a partially collapsing wooden boardwalk throughout the grounds.

The zoo opened in 1910 and closed in 2002, and has remained closed since. It's mostly just graffiti, stripped buildings, and overgrown vegetation now.
