While driving around the narrow roads on the mountain tops (making lots of fun hairpin corners), every once in awhile we came across rest points where we could get out of the car and walk around the forest. Some trees had fantastic bark colour and texture — this triple-ridged one for example (if you like that sort of thing). The type of tree? I have no idea...
