Ah, another weekend of domesticity. Cleaning the kitchen, dealing with storage issues, and organizing remaining untold quantities of unopened boxes.

On the way out the door I noticed the early morning sunlight streaming through the kitchen window and casting this shadow on the (freshly painted) red wall. So, I stuck my head in the way and took a snap. It could probably be a companion shot to yesterday's photo.

And no, this isn't colour adjusted in any way whatsoever. We painted the center structural wall of the house red — all the way through — both sides — upstairs and downstairs. Why conform?
