I had a tough time deciding whether to do this in colour or black & white. While I really liked the black & white version, the whole point of taking the shot was for the flaming orange wall behind me. In the end I caved to the colour...

I was wandering around the Metro Convention Centre last night as it appeared to be completely devoid of people. I ended up taking a number of self-portraits using whatever remaining props (chairs, dolleys, etc..) were left on the exhibition floor. It was interesting being in such a huge space with nothing to occupy it.

Ultimately, I'm not actually happy with the photo. I think it was more interesting to take the shot and be in the space than to see the result. Sigh.
