Painting the Leafs Apr 21, 2004

Before the Toronto Maple Leafs vs Ottawa Senators game last night, I wandered down to the Air Canada Centre to see what was going on. They had a number of events (mostly beer-related) setup for the fans. This woman was painting maple leafs on fans' faces.

I wanted to take a shot which was other than the typical 'raving mad hockey fan' so I was happy with this.

On the other hand... after the Leafs won last night, madness ensued all over the city, hence this photo below. The second photo is Yonge and St. Clair maybe 5 minutes after the Leafs won. People were racing through the streets and the horns were blaring for at least the next two hours. As usual. Crazy hockey fans... :)
