King & Spadina Mar 16, 2004

Today's photo stems from being in the right place at the right time, 5:59pm to be exact. I was wandering around the demolition site of the old Club Monaco building at King and Spadina, where they are preparing to build a new condo. As I was looking towards the building, a red glow from the sunset opened through the clouds (cue vocal choir) and struck the side of the building. I had time for one shot, and then the clouds covered over again and.. no more red glow.

In other news, I've had a number of people ask me about Abstract no.1, wondering what it is. So, I've updated the page and added the colour version of the image to help you guess what it is. If nobody gets it this week, well, I'll let you know.
