Hallway With Chair

April 1, 2006

This reminds me of The Shining even though it's:

  1. not a hotel
  2. not a brightly lit hallway
  3. not populated with identical twins.

I concur with Gabriel. The lighting in this one gives it a spectacular atmosphere and makes you wonder what is behind each and every door in the hallway. On the right , the doorway with the light spilling out, I imagine a brightly lit empty room, paint peeling. With lots of windows overlooking a field of decayed junk and strewn about rubbish that people have tried to cary away, or things that got lost in the shuffle on the last day as people departed from here never to return.

I love this one. Fantastic. I hope someday to get opportunities to shoot in places like this. Amazing.

most of the building is gone but no one saw how awesome those light fixures are?! There are so many of them, those would be worth a lot of money in a shop somewhere
