The gauges and instruments in an industrial control room are mounted on a large floor to ceiling panel. Operator's controls are in front of the panel. A supervisor's desk oversees the entire room, with multiple binders strewn about the desk, some open. The room is dirty and abandoned.

The Control Room, Forgotten

Everyone who cared has long since packed up and moved on. Here's my older wide-angle view of the Richard L. Hearn Generating Station control room.

It's sort of the typical shot of this room (the conductor's view, if you will). What I was trying to achieve was visual separation of the various planes. This is actually the result of manually combining three different exposures to maintain a more balanced degree of contrast... which is just a difficult way of saying I spent more time than usual in Photoshop for this image.
