Lush Landscape and Misty Hillside Apr 13, 2013

It's a terrible place. Warm, relaxing, full of life and the great outdoors. Sounds awful, right?

Costa Rica is one of those places that — when I was there — seemed just a bit too good to be true. Landscape, climate, food, people... it all seemed enjoyable and easy. (I say that as a tourist, having complete ignorance of the politics or general societal composition.)

This photo was taken across the street from the local airport we were flying out of near Montezuma. (The airport was literally a runway in the middle of a field, with a picnic table which was the 'check-in desk'.)
