Mmm, doesn't look bleak in this photo... Even the bare branches don't look bereft with that gorgeous blue sky. Nice shot...bet it lends more life to the spot than reality does (I work in a business park...LOTS of concrete, a little landscaping.

I don't understand the comment about the photo. Looks like a typical part of many urban areas. Maybe not manicured. But it's definitely not bleak.
