Down the Red Slide

The drive-in movie theatre also has a playground. It's nice because it has large slides and ladders. It hasn't been entirely neutered like the playgrounds currently in the city.

As sad as it may seem to have the unused drive-in, at least it hasn't been demolished and made into something new. History can still be observed. Loved those big slides...our drive-in also had swings and a people-powered merry-go-round, I think~~ Now it's a huge shopping center. At least my 24 yr old niece can remember the drive-in.Did you go down the slide after taking this shot?
