The Dirty Hand

October 5, 2005

The hand isn't fully in focus as I'd like it to be, but I still like the overall feel of this.

The sunlight on her (?) hand makes this shot. I love that.

Dirty hands are busy hands. Makes you wonder what kind of work they have been into.

Such a simple shot, yet so beckoning, Strong defined lines on her hand & definitely not a stranger to work by no means. I love the softened background & the way the light reflects off her shoulder in a dream like manner. Very good use of color in this pic also. Well balanced theme with many points of interest. Once again Kendall, Good Job!!!

I love your softer side. You are so diverse you can go from awesome industrial to perfectly gentle. I am a sucker for kids. I also liked your wedding photos you had a while back I think the title was flower girl or something like that. I forwarded your site to my son in Germany. He loved them. Keep up the good work. I have decided I am getting myself a really great camera with my income tax do you have any suggestions. Hope this isn't to wordy. Bye.

this pic is awsome, it is the sun light that gives the hand a dirty appeal with the shadow on the palm yet it is still a great shot.

Really excellent use of selective focus and great with the colour of the girl's dress.

ok - i can see it from this monitor but my other monitor was too dirty. very cute. doesn't actually look too dirty. i think it gets worse as they get a little older and don't want to wash up!

I don't know Kendall...if the hand were more focused, I think it would be too sharp a contrast (just mentally picturing it). The color mix is beautiful, and it took a second look to see the pinkness of the hand "reflected" in her cheeks. Pretty amazin' for a fella who loves decrepit buildings!

i think the slight blur is nice. it looks more like a person asking for the money you owe them...the blur makes it feel more like intimate...like an allowance.
