I think I've got this exact collection of old unmatched screws, nails, bolts and nuts in my basement. Like the ones in this photo, mine will probably never get used either.

Lovely colours and textures...I like the way you composed the image, with the nail tray taking up 2/3rds top and side of the frame...the law of 1/3rds I guess
