Out of Service - Caution!

May 31, 2005

Yes, it's a urinal with an 'out of service' sign. What made me laugh was the extra effort to wrap the yellow 'Caution' tape around the front, just to go that extra step in warning people who ignored the 'out of service' sign. But was 'Caution' really the right word? What bodily harm will be be inflicted for those that ignore the sign? I don't want to know...

Anyways, I'm back to some random postings for the next little while until I get time to sort out photos from the past few weeks.

i think you lack the adventurous spirit necessary to find out what it truly means to violate caution tape on a urinal, and to be quite honest with you, i may never look at you the same way again... oh, kendall.

I know why you chosed this photo for today! You are very busy and you aren't in the mood to read all those comments:"Great shot", "great composition", "great colours", "bla bla bla". What can you comment on this? Great strategy! :) ;) :)

Lavi - yeah, this photo will probably let me get caught up on the past week of comments. I'll have to remember that for the future.. 'to stem the flow of comments, post a urinal shot.'

~the caution tape cracks me up...as if someone would actually want to get in there or something...~

Kendall, don't reply to this comment, it's okay. From the look of all those *brown* splatter marks the caution tape is entirely unnecessary: no one has ever hit the ceramic here... Maybe it means, "Caution: you are standing in someone else's urine"...

Where's the flush button, err, flush release? What are those things called?

Marc, great insight!

When I'm walking around with my camera and I see a urinal, I say, "Now that's art!"

:) Neat choice... kinda grotey though...
