And now for something completely different... I'm on top of a veritable sea of brand new garbage dumpsters here somewhere in the west end of Toronto. And there's no need to explain why.
Update: I've put a small gallery of photos online from our recent visit to a shipbreaking yard in Port Colborne.
Sorry I havnt commented in such a long time!! I've been busy getting ready for my trip to Europe. This photo makes me dizy. Im seeing too much red. But i like the black opening space in between the dumpsters. It brings contrast to the picture. Keep it up!

If there is someone guilty for this weather problems we have lately( at least here in Romania there are many things wrong with our weather), this guilty person is the humankind. We are consumers who produce a lot of garbage.
Your photo is so real because it makes you understand that this garbage recepients are neverending. They aren't localised in Toronto, they represent the garbage in the world, the same kind of garbage that made possible those sad views from Sudbury.
your photo isn't beautiful or surprising, it isn't a work of art, it is boring, but so real. The important thing is that seeing it makes you think. And then you wonder: Where does all that garbage go when it goes?
You should see where our garbage goes!(i mean here, in Romania). In Canada at least you can't actually see it and you live with the impression that it doesn't affects you
i like your photos very much lately. Do not give up this site!
uniformity will be boring. But when there is a projection or some change,it really makes the difference. Here the disarranged garbage dumpster with some shadows elsewhere makes the differnce.Class.
