Safe and Solid

May 7, 2005

It's only a 20ft drop if the soggy planks give way — no need to panic. This one's from the top floor of the American Can Company building in Simcoe, Ontario.

Jenn and I saw Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy last night. I was a bit worried that they'd completely destroy the thing and to be fair, it wasn't too bad. The casting of the main characters (Arthur, Ford and Zaphod) seemed entirely appropriate and they pulled off Marvin quite well. Of course, there were elements missed and/or mangled but overall it wasn't entirely terrible. :)

I hope you're also paying attention to the radio plays that they've released, and updated, to cover the remaining books. (The original radio plays pre-date the books and hence are slightly different - and they only cover the first two books.) They did the Tirtiary last year and they're doing the Quandry phase now. I think Dirk Maggs has done an awesome job adapting them.

Photography... don't talk to me about photography.

Nice perspective and like the shards of glass dotted about.

Are those little pebbles on top of the planks? Are you on a soggy board walk? Not really sure I like this.
