Another one taken while playing around with the Canon 10d. I generally like the image, but two things bother me: the tone of the skin (couldn't quite seem to get this resolved) and the eyeglasses (for me they distract in this case). Still, it was a candid shot so I'm not too disappointed with the results.

Hey?!? What have you got against glasses wearers? I think it's a nice shot... but I might have tried dropping it down to ISO1600 and closing up the aperture a wee bit to calm down a bit of the grain and to give a bith more depth. I like the background blurred, but I think only the frame of her left lens is in proper focus. (I'm guessing of course, but) I think the b/w hides that well.
Anyway, it's a nice shot.
Focus, schmocus :) I like the shallow DOF. That was a killer lense.
I like black & white photos but this one doesnt seem that special:-/ Nice try tho
I am so very pleased with this photo. It has such a wonderful vintage feel to it, timeless even. You have a very pleasing artistic eye and always seem to find a way of making the "everybody does this photo" to something interesting.
I love it!!!. You are finally taking pictures of life objects. You are so good at it. I really like this shot.
Is Jen your wife? Or is this just a pic you took of a person? I like the pic!
