For some reason this old shiny car was parked on the sidewalk at King and Brant last night. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a few shots of this old gem.

Afterwards I walked down around Roy Thomson Hall where one of the gala screenings for the Toronto Film Festival was taking place. A number of actors arrived (Lily Tomlin, Selma Blair, Mark Wahlberg) and no, I didn't take photos of them. I refuse to be drawn into this cult-of-fame thing. There. I've made my political statement for the day..

In other news... our schedules magically cleared up at the last minute so we're off to the cottage for a final time this year. See you back on Monday!
