By far the most interesting site of the Toronto Doors Open event was the Wychwood TTC Barns. These sheds were built in the early 1900's to inspect and repair the TTC streetcars and have now been abandoned for some time. The quality of light coming in from the skylights was gorgeous and there were quite a few photographers there — some with fairly serious equipment.
In the end I was there for over two hours, shooting almost constantly. I've assembled a gallery of photos of the Wychwood TTC Barns. For me, there was no contest — this alone made Doors Open worthwhile.
